Anyone interested in Jamstix under OS X? Leave a message!
FWIW - After a long long run with cubase and windows, I bought a mac and am using logic for our next album. I miss jamstix! There's nothing like it and the jamstix brain that triggers BFD2 in AU would be a great leap in a new direction...

<t>A few other observations...<br/>
<br/>
Since I use BFD2 I create a custom kit... all the midi locations have to be two octaves up... in other words a kick defined in BFD as C1 has to be mapped in jamstix 64 bit beta as C3 to have BFD respond. <br/>

Kit pieces jump around when adding so I ...

Jamstix & Cubase
<t>Yes, tried it and on my system a bit frustrating so I went to 3.3.0 with jbridge but that didn't help much... then back to 1.8.1 and then 2.5.3 with jbridge but that was futile... I may be dull but I wish version 1 could be 64 bit, but jbridge does not work on this and clumps all the midi data ...

<t>Ralph, I wish all software companies took care of their customers like you do. Sad day for me as I am going to look for an alternative as I simply can not make music anymore using Cubase 6 64 bit on Windows 7 64. I have tried going back to the older programs Jamstix 1 and 2 using jbridge with no ...

<t>Ralph, I absolutely love this software. Over the years it has been great. And the support is awesome. I have been playing with the beta version and offer this to help.<br/>

Ralph... using again Jamstix Classic beacuse I like to program hits... Could there be an A, B, C, D, grid for snare, kick, and hat in the main groove area by selecting a box adding another grid? By default it would open with one grid (part A) and have add an alt grid or ...

<t>Sure, since I mostly program in classic mode, back when JS1 was used there were some basic grid sort of what snare and kick are now in JS3 for the hats. <br/>

So the input grid could have the open, foot, closed, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and none selections, perhaps double and triple hits as one ...

<t>Ralph, Thanks for the awesome program. A suggestion... In future version 4, perhaps a bit more hat manual control? I almost always use Jamstix classic to program the groove. I found out the hard way that hard mapping of the hi hat is a problem and it only seems to like the variable mapping. With ...
