Jamstix 3.5 RC1 (VST/32, VST/64, RTAS/32) Available
I've been out of the loop (excuse pun) On my download page it's at 3.5 64 bit download only, but I'm still on 32 bit (3.2.1. beta.Worked so flawlessly I hadn't seen need to change for a bit).Is there a download for the last one before 64 bit available to download anywhere?

We need to fix the wording. Please highlight an existing note at the end of the desired cymbal wash (or place a dummy note there) and then click 'Add...'. The resulting wash or roll will end at the highlighted note.craig_glenn wrote:Trying to do a cymbal wash, and snare roll, quite to loud....but JS is not allowing me to...says i need to highlight the block but i cant, wont let me...
"locked" is highlighted, not the icon the word, and i cant seem to change that...running beta 3.5 (check signature for more info)

We will soon have a combined 3.5 Beta (32 and 64-bit).steve b wrote:I've been out of the loop (excuse pun) On my download page it's at 3.5 64 bit download only, but I'm still on 32 bit (3.2.1. beta.Worked so flawlessly I hadn't seen need to change for a bit).Is there a download for the last one before 64 bit available to download anywhere?

Ralph,
Will it still be just the one .dll file "jamstix.dll"?
Or will the 64 bit file have a different name (like the current beta)? I am just trying to figure out how it would affect projects (in Cubase) that are already created and the channels, automation, etc.
Sincerely,
J.L.

The final release DLL will be called 'jamstix3.dll'. The installer will place either the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version of the file depending on install choices made.

Great! I think that means a "seamless" transition for old projects...Ralph [RZ] wrote:The final release DLL will be called 'jamstix3.dll'. The installer will place either the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version of the file depending on install choices made.

A few other observations...
Since I use BFD2 I create a custom kit... all the midi locations have to be two octaves up... in other words a kick defined in BFD as C1 has to be mapped in jamstix 64 bit beta as C3 to have BFD respond.
Kit pieces jump around when adding so I have to use the reset kit selection to get it back. Sometimes an "abstract" error comes up.
Sometimes the hi hat midi note changes to another si I have to click the dice to get it back.... not sure why this works but it does?

I tried the beta yesterday and I have to say the smoothness is great and I find overall performance better.
I am loving it

Thanks for the new beta, Ralph!
the dll called jamstix35.dll (for sidebyside install i guess) can i just rename it to jamstix3.dll to test it with existing projects?
Will the final be called like the old one?
