Mystery drum sounds that don\'t appear in Groove/Accent/Fill?

<t>I see from another thread you have Jamcussion, the sounds are most likely ( but not necessarily ) coming from JC make sure in the wizard to set the JC section to silent for style and drummer and empty kit, or similar.<br/>

This was driving me nuts until i figured out what was going on.<br ...

A couple songs using Jamstix

Great !! I really like these tracks, you've arranged them very well indeed :)

I like " What i can't see" best, the bass is really nice, you play very well and the guitar section at the end really takes it out nicely.

Nicely done.

tempo changing/halftime

Jamstix will follow the tempo of your host software, REAPER, Protools etc, so set up a tempo map how you want in your host first, then use the half time options etc in Jamstix as needed.

dissapearing midi

<r><QUOTE author="a_zimuth"><s>[quote="a_zimuth"]</s>It doesn't matter what position the Lock button is in when setting this up but for it to play the Lock has to be closed. In that video the DAW/Host software is running and Ralph is just locking and unlocking JS from it. That is why the Lock button ...

dissapearing midi

<r>One more thought, when you load the midi clip are you hitting play and letting JS compose at least one bar before you save as a style preset ?<br/>
<br/>
If you save the style preset without composing a bar or so you are effectively saving a blank style.<br/>

Other than suggesting you study ...

dissapearing midi

<t>Make sure you don't have midi only highlighted in the mixer view, also you need a drummer loaded and you need to use your saved style as the style.<br/>
<br/>
And i know its been covered but if you just leave the lock button pressed in and use the start stop function of your DAW you should be ...

<r>It comes down to what works for the song with me, I,ve just finished mixing a 14 track album ( not mine ) and all the drums were done in JS3.<br/>
<br/>
10 out of the 14 tracks i used the JS3 samples and they worked great but on 3 songs i used Superior drummer 2.0 and 1 song was BFD eco, i really ...

playback

<t>I set markers in reaper that correspond with the start of the verses, choruses etc then its very quick using the number keys to jump to any position in the song.<br/>
<br/>
Its not ideal and it would be great to do this from inside JS but afaik its not possible at this stage.<br/>
