Hi, I love the potential of JS but I'm struggling to use it..it seems very complicated but i suppose that's the price you pay for something so clever..anyway, my problem is when I try to use a midi file as the basis of a style for JS to follow, I follow the instructions..load import style..load midi pattern of choice, save style preset in the brain menu, click wizard..select import etc...the instructions then say select other options as desired nd click create song but before i can do this i need to click wizard..is this correct ? when i do this and start JS the midi file has gone and JS is doing it's own thing..what am I doing wrong please ?...Kevin

Thanks for that and I apologize for my stupidity..I should have found that vid myself...while I'm here can I also ask why I can not drag and drop a midi file from JS..I can drag and drop midi from all other plugins on my computer, I suppose there is a vid about it, I'll have a look, cheers, Kevin

Hi Kevin,
If you are using the 64 bit beta, drag and drop has been removed. It does work in the 32 bit version. Let the song play through then drag the Song Title or Part name (if you only want part of the song) into your DAW.

Ok so I can not drag and drop because I've got 64 bit..maybe this will be fixed in future updates, I'm not sure what you mean regarding locked to host, JS has always followed my DAW no problem, there is no mention of this in the tutorial vid, he just goes to the button as if it was a play button..should this button be in a certain position before starting the process ?..thanks for your help with this..it's driving me nuts

It doesn't matter what position the Lock button is in when setting this up but for it to play the Lock has to be closed. In that video the DAW/Host software is running and Ralph is just locking and unlocking JS from it. That is why the Lock button is acting like a Play/Stop button. I just tried it in 64 bit and it does work properly.
