Try this: uninstall, then create a folder called e.g Jamstix35beta where you would normally store your samples (this should guarantee that you'll have full access and there will be no file permissions issues), then run the installer and force everything, both Jamstix and the VSTi, to install into that folder. In technical terms, it looks like Jamstix 3.5 beta 6 needs to be installed using the same LUA ("Limited User Account", Microsoft term for non-privileged, or normal user account) that will be used to run the Cubase instance which needs to load it, and it should be installed to a location where that account has "full control" file permissions.
