Please run Cantabile via right-click->Run As Admin and re-scan plugins. Let me know if that does not fix it.Savoyarde_ wrote: Repair does not help. Problem still exists

Sorry, that doesen't help either.
AudioM8 is allways visible ans loadable
jamtstix4 is in the same folder present, but wil not be recognized
Is there a way to get on with the older version?

Maybe a silly question: does the standalone JS422 run and play OK?
For background info, once Reaper has detected a problem with a plug-in, that plug-in is subsequently ignored, Is that happening for you?

Standalone? You mean an EXE? I didn't know there was one. Since JS works within a host I thought it was just a DLL. So if I click on the JS EXE it'll open up like it does within Reaper, but I just won't be able to do anything with it? I'll try that when I get home in a few hours.DarkStar wrote:Maybe a silly question: does the standalone JS422 run and play OK?
I have a program, Dependency Walker, that, if I'm explaining this right, lists what files an EXE or DLL needs to run. Maybe I'm missing something. I'll check when I get home.

DarkStar, not sure what you mean but there is no standalone Jamstix version.

Oops. I saw jamstix4.exe in the ProgramData folder and made an assumption.Ralph [RZ] wrote:DarkStar, not sure what you mean but there is no standalone Jamstix version.

No progress on my end. Considering reinstalling Win 7, even though I don't want to.

I got your e-mail with the link to the C++ install, but that's it. Reinstalling C++ didn't do anything

Can I ask a few basic questions:
[list:a83ef939fd]-- exactly which version of Reaper are you using?
-- 64-bit or 32-bit?
-- can you post a pic of the Jamstix Installation Manager / Install Options?
-- exactly where is the jamstix4.dll installed?
-- what does it show in the reaper-vstplugins.ini (or the 64-bit equivalent) file for jamstix4?
-- exactly where are the vcruntime140.dll and msvcp140.dll located?[/list:u:a83ef939fd]
For info, I have
-- vcruntime140.dll in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64
-- msvcp140.dll in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64
In both cases, the first is the 64-bit version and the second is the 32-bit version.
