The Mac version is unfortunately on hold until further notice due to continued issues with the 3rd party tools/compiler that Jamstix uses. The focus is now on VST3 version and then Jamstix 5 for PC. As always, things may change in the future but that is where it stands today.

Yes, it absolutely will stay a part of it and so will all other expansions and MiniPaks.

The critical workaround, discovered by Fred, is to load the PatchWork "Wrapper" preset first, then load the Jamstix VST2 (but don't open the editor), then configure the PatchWork Audio I/O for that instance of Jamstix to have less than 16 outputs. That can all be saved then as a PatchWork preset ...
