Yes, it absolutely will stay a part of it and so will all other expansions and MiniPaks.

This is great news! Add me to the pleased and happy list - I had more or less assumed that JS was permanently on ice developmentally, and also dreading the day when my installation broke down or my software stopped talking to it.

I was using JS just this evening. I get such good, lively, natural-sounding results with it (running into Superior Drummer in my case). I basically make a very simple drum brain, mostly using the classic JS grid model (often based on a drum machine groove I might've used to get a song going) simple fills, and varying power and timing in sections - hihat openness and so on. This gives me that classic New Wave/Disco thing I really like, and which is virtually impossible to build with midi clips. (Or, sadly, to play live, as I am a terrible drummer myself).

I save the JS output to SD's track, where I can easily tweak ((re)move fills etc) if I wish (and also of course save the SD session so I can open the whole thing in any DAW/platform I may want to).

JS is bloody great. There's nothing else like it that I've found - Melda, Toontrack, UJAM. They don't do what's JS does. I'll be straight into JS5 whenever it arrives.
