Using jamstix classic with james stix I can't get rid of the ghost notes. I have the ghost notes turned completely off in Accents.
Another question is if I turn on side stick for the snare it plays all the fills with side stick too which sounds stupid, is there a setting for that?

In the Accent window click the Snare Ghosts label drop-down and choose "Disable".
Not sure about the sidestick thing, I'll have to check that out later.
EDIT: I just checked this and it works properly for me. How are you setting the Snare to side stick? If I set "Auto Snare" in the Groove window to "Active" with "max power" set to full , the Groove plays with side stick but the Fills are full Snare hits. Is this not what you're seeing?

I do have the ghost's disabled but it still does it.
Turning the auto snare to max fixed the side stick problem, it sounds much better thanks.

James Stix tends to play a lot of ghost notes. I'd try some of James Stix other player presets to see if it helps and failing that, a different player all together.

I had to give up on the sidestick. Different drummers didn't make any difference and it sounds stupid having the ghost notes with a sidestick.

Hi Amped,
Did you try turning "Throw-Ins" in the Accent window to 0 also? That will also affect it. I forgot to mention this.
