I'm trying to figure out, for live usage, if one can control Jamstix Start/Stop and Tap Tempo from a footswitch like the Molten Voltage Tempest (http://www.moltenvoltage.com/pedalsync_midi_pedalboard_devices_by_molten_voltage.html).
Since Jamstix has to be in a host, I guess it is host dependent. Which hosts might I look at?

Yeah, I've done a full forum search and I can not seem to find anyone else who desires to control start/stop and tempo with a footswitch which I find odd since Jamstix is designed to be something one jams with live.
Nobody knows? Not possible?

It's definitely a host task as Jamstix start/stop and tempo are host-based. Unfortunately, I don't know a host right off the bat that has mapping functions for this.

I'm pretty sure you can do this in Reaper.manymanyhaha_ wrote:I'm trying to figure out, for live usage, if one can control Jamstix Start/Stop and Tap Tempo from a footswitch like the Molten Voltage Tempest (http://www.moltenvoltage.com/pedalsync_midi_pedalboard_devices_by_molten_voltage.html).

There's a fully functional demo to try, and the forum there is great (plenty of JS users there too.) post a question on the forum there if you get stuck.

ADIG Human syncronizer http://www.adiginvention.com/ allows you to tap tempo change any host.Actually it does more than that.It reads your, for me guitar tempo, and changes the host accordingly, used it for keyboard too, just like a real live performance.Always loved the way Hendrix changed tempo all the time during a live performance.I use it with Ableton live 9.Saying that it wont work on my desktop computer because of my now antiquated Emu 1820 audio interface. But I fixed the capacitors on it so am loathe to see it go yet.
