js3 making host program hang or crash when closing host

hi ralph js3 is great but there is a problem when shutting down host. i am using magix music studio2013 and fl 10 and when i close either program with js in track the program crashes or stops responding and have to close with task manager. i am using windows 8 pro 32 bit. is there others with this problem?

Any update on this matter?

I'm having the same exact problem using Windows 8x 64 on Presonus Studio One x64. Jamstix loads and appears to work okay, until you attempt to either remove Jamstix or exit the DAW. It crashes every time.

It's the only vst that gives me any problem.

This file is not generated for me after JS crashes Presonus. I checked numerous times while troubleshooting the issue to no avail. I can always try Ableton and report back, but Presonus is the larger issue for me as it's the DAW I use daily.

When I have the time to test further I'll post my results. Any other suggestions in the meantime?

Please set Windows Explorer to 'show hidden files' and the rzdlog.txt file(s) should show up in Documents\Jamstix3. Just send me the latest one.

Okay. Some more interesting info on this matter.

Firstly, Ableton Live 9 does the exact same thing as Presonus, plus the .dll fix for Ableton that's floating around these forums did not help me in my case. Another thing I found was, if I load JS and save the session in Studio One and try to exit, it crashes. However, when I load that session up again, I can remove JS or exit Studio One without a crash. But... if I load JS a second time... it crashes again.

It's very odd behavior to say the least. Anyway, here's the info you requested. Hope it helps resolve my issue as well as others experiencing the same thing.

Jamstix crashes host when unloading the plugin (delete it, remove tracks,etc.), unfortunately it doesn't create a logfile.
i mean that doesn't happen with jamstix3.5, but i cannot test it out so i'm not totaly sure.
Happens with Jamsitx 3.5.1b3 and Reaper 4.41pre1 all x64.

the logfile isn't under hidden files on my system it just don't creates one when crashing the host.
But i try to send the latest one created when it exits correctly.
