Keep hearing the same beats

Every song has this constant 1and2and3and4 slow percussion / conga-ish sort of sound in it.

It's like a constant drone no matter what song I play

The only time it goes is when I preview a kit, then things sound normal - during preview.

But as soon as I load the kit I hear drone again.

I've tried quitting J2 and reloading but it still comes back.

It's almost as if a piece of jamcussion was caught in the kit.

Is there any way to flush the kit, a clear-all command?

I have all the paks, use Sonar 8, XP and J2 latest
