Ralph,
I have been unable to find a way in JS3 to extend the number of tracks past 8. In JS2 at the top of the ambiance control you could increase the track count. I was trying to host Session Drummer 3 included in Sonar 8.5 and JS3 gave a message that at least 12 tracks were needed to be able to host. As of yet I have not been able to find where to do this inside JS3. Thanks!

Happy Holidays!

I prefer delays, but peoples seem to go more with the reverb option. I am interested in knowing the opinion of Ralph about why he decided to go with a delay. ( of course if you have time...lol )

Happy Hollydays to all of you .

Ultimately we would like to offer a wide range of built-in FX. However, this would require raising the price, which we are not prepared to do at this time. We are envisioning a high-end version of JS down the road for this. The 'delay' was added in JS3 because it is inexpensive to implement and very helpful for electronic grooves.

Ralph,

Do you plan to offer a Beta 8 with a different expiration date? That would be sad not being able to test while on vacation...

What about January 15 for the expiration?

Would it be possible to have some type of send & return within Jamstix so we could use a third party reverb/delay and route it back into jamstix's mixer. This would eliminate the need to use separate channels in our DAWs for drums but also would not require Jamstix to have it's own effect... how difficult would this be to implement?

FWIW, this wouldn't be a priority for me. I like to invest my limited time and money in 'best of breed' plugs.

For creating realistic drumparts, this means JS1, 2 and soon to be 3 8)
For general sampling it's Kontakt.
For reverb and other effects, eventually I will probably take the plunge and go for UAD. Until then, there are many excellent free offerings such as the Kjaerhus classics.

I would vote for future development effort into more players and styles, and to a 64 bit version.

I know you guys must be flat-out with JS3, but have you considered using something like http://www.surveymonkey.com/ to get feedback on future development beyond that?
