We are envisioning a high-end version of JS down the road for this. The 'delay' was added in JS3 because it is inexpensive to implement and very helpful for electronic grooves.
FWIW, this wouldn't be a priority for me. I like to invest my limited time and money in 'best of breed' plugs.
For creating realistic drumparts, this means JS1, 2 and soon to be 3 8)
For general sampling it's Kontakt.
For reverb and other effects, eventually I will probably take the plunge and go for UAD. Until then, there are many excellent free offerings such as the Kjaerhus classics.
I would vote for future development effort into more players and styles, and to a 64 bit version.
I know you guys must be flat-out with JS3, but have you considered using something like http://www.surveymonkey.com/ to get feedback on future development beyond that?
