No volume from jamstix
A song I've been working on for a while now suddenly has no sound from jamstix. I can see it playing. If I hit the snare it shows volume on the mixer. If I switch to a different song jamstix plays fine. I stared at it for quite a while now and just can't figure it out. This is in Cakewalk, no there is no Solo on or Mute. Jamstix is in normal jam, the settings look the same as it does in my other songs. Tried rebooting the computer too.

I take that back, it doesn't show anything on the sound meters on the jamstix mixer. The drums are playing the song but no sound.

OMG it just did it to me again in a different song!!! I can see it playing but no sound.

After a restart of the computer the sound came back but the previous song is still silent. What setting could be changing to cause this?

Please do a JS4 song menu 'Save Song' in the silent song and send me the file.

I sent it to support if that's the right place.

I can confirm the issue in your saved file. We are investigating. Work-around for now: reload the kit.

Thanks that did bring it back.

I've had jamstix volume go really low a few times, the power setting doesn't change it. It's just suddenly is very low. This happened again yesterday and I did the "reload kit" thing and it fixed it but obviously there is some kind of glitch going on.

This sounds a bit like a similar problem I have reported in the ECM thread. I could indeed be that when my JS track goes silent it is just dropped volume. Ralph said this was confirmed several months ago. Is there a new patch?Amped_up wrote:I've had jamstix volume go really low a few times, the power setting doesn't change it.
