Voted for Jamstix last week. There are now several great drum
V.I.s these days, but among them, Jamstix is my favorite. It's everything
I dreamed of in the past, and more!

Just voted. Make sure you scroll down all the way. Towards the end of nomination categories is one for drum VST which I nominated Jamstix for.

I've been spending quite a bit of time learning how to dial in my edrum setup (MegaDrum and converted acoustic kit with 3 ply mesh heads and Yamaha 3 zone ride and hi-hat and DIY crashes). A drummer friend who guided me in the process doesn't use VST's but plays through a TD11K kit. We adjusted the head tension and pedals. We solved an issue with missed hits. When I was calibrating the pads I wasn't doing low to mid velocity hits so hadn't noticed at those velocities there was double triggering occurring which can cause missed hits. We also adjusted things so the velocities were more accurate.

We started the session using Superior Drummer. Once the pads were dialed in I switched to Jamstix kits and he preferred how they played and sounded.

Ralph, you should try marketing just the drum kit paks as edrum specific offerings. I recommend you contact Robert Jonkman of AudioFront (maker of DSP Trigger) , he has created a really cool, tiny trigger midi interface that would go well with the paks. I just ordered one.
