[list:43a7bac166]- I initially purchased the product because I thought customising the MIDI Input Mapper was disabled in the demo. I didn't realise it was in an editable file.
- I couldn't find the directory of the installation anywhere until I clicked Help / Manuals and went up a level. I expected to see this directory in the Manager UI somewhere, but I don't think it's referenced.
- I was confused by the MIDI mapping mechanism (assigning keys, input and output mappers), as when I clicked on the Kit and assigned a key mapping for a drum/cymbal, I expected that to apply to the rest of the drum setup (i.e. Input and Output MIDI mappers). I can see the advantages of hand editing the files, but it was very confusing and not intuitive at all.
- I had to edit the SSD5 Input and Output mapper to take advantage of the additional nuances (happy to share that file).[/list:u:43a7bac166]
If I am to be honest, I initially had buyer's remorse because I thought the product wasn't going to be able to do what I thought it could do. But after some assistance on the forums, I think I'm ok now. Thanks for what I've see so far in this product!
