Jamstix 4.4.6 (PC) Released

Post by gmon72 »

updated fine through manager. So far so good in Cubase 10. Took a style and created a style preset as part of the testing without issue.

Doing this and then going to test the build function made me think a handy FR to keep current Style (similar to what is there for the kit) when building a song, may save a step if someone was mucking with a style and then wanted to create a song from there.

I may just need more coffee but cannot you elaborate on this FR?

:) No problem. I will try. In the song builder one needs to pick a style. The FR is for the use case if before building a song, the user was creating a custom style, from MIDI import or style preset, etc. that fit the need and then wanted to create a song with the song builder. It would be helpful on the song builder options to have a "Keep Current Style" similar to Keep Current Kit. Similarly a Keep Current Drummer would be helpful too.

Hopefully that made sense?

The builder replaces all parts so the concept of 'Keep Current Style' would not apply, especially since existing parts can have different styles.

If you want to just re-arrange parts in the song builder without changing style or drummer, you would use the parts list at the bottom-left side of the builder, which shows your current parts. This leaves style and drummer of the selected parts intact.

Nothing important, I use the Berlin theme in 3D view. Every time when I change to the 3D view I only see a black background. I have to change the theme and then change to Berlin again. Then it's there. I'm working with Studio One 4 and Win10.

I installed v 4.3.0. Now with Stuio One v4 (latest version) the plugin window doesn't show the whole GUI and it is not resizable.

Hello Ralph;
I was able to solve the problem by "troubleshooting" in the manager tool. I activated "override DPI" and raised the value to about 110.
Do you need the log file anyway?
