I first get "The application can't be opened" with "-50" below it, then another window with "Cannot sync with Core (LE:0)"

Those are the same error messages I received - which seem to have gone away since the Cubase 10.5.12 hotfix. I even got Jamstix to open after starting my eGPU. Wierd.
I updated Jamstix, not MacOS. There MAY have been an OS update between last using Jamstix and this time, but it didn't affect any other AU plugins.
Nothing else changed on my system that I can recall. The only change was to update Jamstix.
I also don't use Cubase, so it's not that - whether I use Logic or Ableton Live I get the problem.
Also, I just realized that I'm now getting an issue where if I click on the plugin window in either DAW it goes black, and if I click a second time the window contents appear again...

In the course of this 'adventure' with Jamstix 4.4.3 I've been keeping the macOs activity monitor open. There's a system application called 'WindowServer' that has at different times been the biggest cpu hog while running Jamstix. I read somewhere on this forum Ray saying that macOs window handing was a bit of a challenge. My experience was that Jamstoix would open with a black screen and the WindowHandler cpu usage would climb and climb.
You've probably tried this but I used Jamstix manager to reinstall/repair Jamstix several times.
Ralph? I keep checking back to see if there’s any update on this - are you able to reproduce these problems, and are there any fixes in the pipeline?

Uninstalled it and will look for other options.
Sorry you've not had a satisfactory response (or in fact any). Jamstix 4 beta is working at the moment on my Mac, although it has been in and out for the last several months. If you're looking for alternatives, I can recommend Superior Drummer 3.
Just wondering has anyone had success routing Jamstix into superior drummer 3 using the new recording system by UAD? Luna. I’ve tried it all I think. But can’t seem to get them talking
