Jamstix 4.4.3 Beta 3 (macOS) is now available

Anyone had any luck getting the beta to work in PT 2019 under Mojave? I’ve tried everything I can think of, but no matter what, JS4 causes PT to hang and renders the session unloadable. I’m patient as I develop software myself and understand it’s hard but I have to get the work done.

I have it working under Logic and Ableton Live

I just picked up the software Bidule that works through Rewire. I bought it to use for other VST’s and will be trying it this weekend with Jamstix since the AAX is still under development.

It is dead simple to use.

Thanks for the reply. I am actually deeply familiar with Bidule, which I use for complicated live setups. I tried wrapping the beta VST in Bidule but JS4 doesn't start when PT starts...? Also, *don't* use the Bildule/JS4 combination in an important PT session, as in some cases the session will not reload afterwards.

All this said, I hope you have better luck than I did...and I'd like to hear how your efforts turn out.

Unfortunately others things got in the way and I have not experimented with Bidule in Pro Tools. Right now I am just using JS in Ableton Live until the AAX version is released.

Just been testing 4.4 for Mac, all seems perfect, just that same issue with visuals when moving the overall plugin interface like the interface is getting left behind when moved. Kits play perfect now no stoppage visually. Love it!!!

Thanks, mate! Yes, we still need to run Jamstix in a dedicated process on macOS at this time and that means overlaying the GUI because macOS does not allow sharing a window with another process.

Hi All,

I get a unicode "No Mapping" error when I select the Funk/6-8 Funk Style.

For this test, I'm using Reason 10 on Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.6

Anyone else getting this?
