Jamstix 4 Information

(This might be best moved out of the JS4 thread ...).

I found the same thing using my standard JS3 kit mapping to EZD2 Nashville (see a recent thread where I posted my mapping), so I vowed to find the biggest JS3 kit I could find and see if that had enough drums. Never have gotten around to doing that though.

I wonder - in JS3, can we import *extra* drums to a kit, for example make a 3-Tom kit a 4-Tom kit?

If not, maybe in JS 4?

Hi Alexis,
You can add Cymbals but not drums.

I'll give it a go today Alexis.I was able to do a mapping for Battery 3 with Jamstix 2 ages ago.It seems different with Jamstix 3 and EZ Drummer. Will report back if I have found a solution. Will import a bigger drum kit than the mapping Jamstix 3 has for EZ ; like you did,and see what I come up with.

Glad to see this rolling along, & I'm really happy about the individual part power control, instead of using automation I'll be able to control this inside JS4, which will be very welcome...

Who qualifies for the free upgrade to JS4???

I did not see any information regarding which if any new drummers or styles might be added. Can you provide more information in that regard?

r_poncher,

In Ralph's original post he said that there would be new drummers and styles but did not offer any specifics regarding that. That still holds true as far as I know.
