Jamstix 4
The problem is on our end and I'm sorry for the delays with JS4. Be assured we're working on it!

Hi there,
what to say. The Road-Map said October 2014. Okay. It's "only" one year later.
So let's hope, that 4 will be the best.
Thanks to Ralph for his work, trying to bust out all those new OS's that came up till the last year, not mentioning all those updates for the Daw's. That's for sure not easy I guess.
So, keep waiting, because 3.x is not the worst one
Greetings

So what kinds of features are people hoping for in JS4? I for one am quite happy with the features of JS3. I'm ecstatic that it runs on Mac. JamBassist would be where I wish things go go now, frankly, but here are things I think might take JS4 to the next level:
- [*:5a537fae9f]Ability to listen to midi and audio tracks and derive a groove that makes sense for it. This does not have to be in real time. The new Drummers in Logic Pro apparently do this.
[*:5a537fae9f]Improve the mixer to include some more FX, such as transient shaper, parametric EQ, tube and tape saturation and higher quality compression. Perhaps sub host VST/AU plugins so that we can mix the drums using whatever FX we want inside a drum setup. ButI have gotten some amazing results using the Jamstix drum sounds, processing through external compression, EQ, transient shaping...it starts to sound literally on par with drum products costing many hundreds of dollars..and I think the Jamstix hi hats usually sound better straight out of jamstix..because somehow there is more nuance to them. I think if Jamstix had state of the art drum sound processing built in, a lot of people would buy it just for the sounds.
[*:5a537fae9f]Ability to have JS4 adapt to and following a preexisting groove track from other tracks. Most sequencers have the ability to make or use DNA grooves to quantize material to a given groove.. So if I have some other tracks already recorded to a groove, have the JS4 drummer adapt to and follow that groove rather then dictating it.
[*:5a537fae9f]Better Mac integration. There are a lot of weird oddities with the current setup, weird GUI glitchy behavior, etc
[*:5a537fae9f]VST plugin version that actually outputs midi and ability to turn off the IAC output(OSX).
[*:5a537fae9f]AU MFX version for Logic/Mainstage
[/list5a537fae9f]
That's all I can think of for now.

Yes, me too! I would hope for a better UI, better implementation of a change in measures. Generally, I don't need JS4 to do more as much as I would like it to let me do it easier and in a more straightforward way.
