Jamstix 3 Kits for AD2

Post by Joe_S »

I created an Addictive Drums 2 kit for Jamstix 3 which includes the added cymbal and flexi slots, and a (Sonar X3) track template of my typical routing set up including a master bus.

You can grab the zip here (zip includes a readme.txt file telling where to copy the files):

Also, I created an Addictive Drums 2 program with all the slots filled up, using the studio prog and studio rock kits, nothing super, just something to start with:

I am unable to download your starter AD2 drum program from the XLN Audio web site. I see the following screen after I click the link you posted:

I own and have registered the following products, so I am not sure what the XLN Audio web site is complaining about:

Would please PM to me a link to another location for your drum program?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what the issue is with the website but it looks like you have what is in the preset.

There isn't anything special, just all cymbal slots are filled and a second ride is in the second ride slot. I put cowbells in the extra slots.

Its the Jamstix kt is what is important. I also created another kit with a fifth tom in one of the extra slots. I'll post it as soon as I get the chance to.

I'm trying to figure out where the presets for ad2 are stored, but I've been very busy.

I'll update this post when the files are up on my site.

I finally got around putting together my 5 Tom Jamstix 3 kit for Addictive Drums 2 using the studio kits. I've included a sample Cakewalk project file with an example setup/routing.

I also updated the previous file by including the Addictive Drums 2 kit preset directly in the zip file.
You will need to move the AD2 presets into your presets folder found in (Windows 8.1):

C:\Users\[i:22746c1a9f]windows user name[/i:22746c1a9f]\Documents\Addictive Drums 2\[i:22746c1a9f]some number[/i:22746c1a9f]

Enjoy!
