Jamstix 3.6 OSX - Final RC Available

Post by ding_dong »

Got it...downloaded and installed...thanks.

After a few crashes at startup in cubase 7.5.02 it seems to work on my macbook-pro late-2013.
Only a few issues with missing sounds so far :)

If I buy the Jamstix now and get the OSX beta...DoI have to pay for any update/grade when the public OSX version comes out..

Also how is it playing with ProTools 11? Is it playing Nice?

Thanks

No, you wouldn't have to pay extra for the release version. All Jamstix 3 owners get OSX Beta and Release for free. We promised this many years ago when we underestimated the effort to get the OSX version done but decided to stick to our promise.

JS OSX works great for us here in PT11.

Yes, JS OSX can output MIDI in EZD and SD format.

On OSX there is no need to fiddle around with the license key file. Just run JamstixManager and it will pick up & install any new Paks. The license activation is done automatically by JamstixManager.

Is it possible to split drumkit and jamcussion so only drumkit goes out in superior drummer format and percussion is played from jamstix?

Ralph,

Congrats, and I love the Jamstix Manager approach - very intuitive and simple.

Is this the thread where you'd like us to report bugs? I'm strictly using AU version in Logic Pro X and have noticed a couple things so far.
