so I attempted again to choose a midi file to create a song. I chose a toontrack midi file and successfully created a song from it. All the parts sound pretty much like the groove in the midi file. Is there a way to choose 2 or more midi files to create a song? So that the verse, chorus, etc... have different feels to it instead of sounding like one midi clip?
Thanks

You'd have to manually change the MIDI file for one or more parts via the GROOVE element of the brain.

I was able to highlight each section (in the sections window) and assign a different midi clip (in the groove element) to each section and even different drummers, etc...
Visually it seems to work, when I play a song I can see the changes being made as each section plays. However, it still sounds like each section is still the same midi clip playing.
Am I missing a step, does the song need to be re-built for the changes to take effect?
Thanks

Can you do a 'Save Song' in JS and send me the file?

I found that if you click on the arrow next to the wizard and choose 'reset song', it will rebuild the song with correct midi files chosen for each part
