Would be possible a smaller "Compact user interface&quo

Post by Serioso_2 »

Hi all.

I'm currently using the "Compact user interface" option, and the e smaller resolution possible in my computer, but even so I'm constantly closing and reopening the jamstix floating window while working in any project, since it occupies nearly the whole screen and doesn't allow me easy access to reaper's transport controls and/or timeline.

Being able of linking the transport controls of jamstix and its host (so you wouldn't need to access to the host transport controls to try the bar you're working on) would be great.

Any idea? If what I'm asking for is not possible, is there any possibility of implementing this feature in future versions, Ralph?

Unfortunately, a plugin cannot tell REAPER what bar to go to. Are you using the preview function for bar editing (round arrow button)?

Yes, but it doesn't allow me to hear the drum bar in context, with the other instruments

@serioso_2 I seriously recommend a second monitor! You can then use the normal size JS GUI and dock it on the second monitor. Reaper workflow is _so_ much easier for me this way.

keys.

Yes, of course you're right. But unfortunately, a second monitor isn't an option for me right now.
