Currently I know of two ways in which you can listen to your created songs/parts:
1. Is to hit the arrow+circle button (aka "Preview Current Bar In A Loop"), though this will only let you listen to the specific bar/verse/part that you have selected.
or
2. Drag and drop the entire 'song' onto a track within the DAW.
Outside of that, is there any way in which I can just loop/play the entire song within the Jamstix GUI to preview it? Having to drag'n'drop or being forced to individually select each part is...one too many clicks sometimes. It's a first world problem, I know, but if I am missing an option or a button please inform me.
Thanks for your time.

Yep you are missing something. There is a little lock button by the power knob. Engage this and now when you hit play in your DAW jamstix will play along. The jamstix gui can still be open but use your DAW transport to start and stop.

^^^
That unfortunately is not the case for me. I am using Mixcraft 6, and unless I have something already recorded on a track, or unless I am doing a recording, JS will NOT play. Again, I have to either preview each section individually, or drag'n'drop the entire song. Hitting play within the DAW when there are no active recordings does nothing (as the DAW sees nothing to play).

Bummer, sorry. I use Reaper and with a totally empty project (nothing recorded, only Jamstix on one track) it will play an entire song using the method I describe with either the song builder or a style.
Anyone using Mixcraft out there that could help out?

Hi, I use Reaper also but could you create a dummy track with a few MIDI notes on it in Mixcraft, so the program sees something to play and then use the transport to start and stop Jamstix?
