How to delete a specific Four Bar Repetition?

Hi,

I have a 4 bar outro with 29 reps going on in a tune I'm tweaking. I'm very happy with the drum arrangement as it is but I need to reduce the overall length of the outro by four bars.

Is there a simple way to delete one specific repetition? I tried to delete a specific four bars but then that gives me an error message about the part needing at least one core bar.

Apparently you can't as deleting a repetition deletes the core bar(s) associated with the rep's you're trying to delete.

Your only other option as far as I can see is too simply reduce the number of rep's by 1 which will get rid of the last rep.

If you are completely happy with the part but you just want to remove a middle 4 bar section you could print it (or export it, or whatever your application calls mixing down a part) and then cut out that section.

Or -- just delete all the events in the 4 bars (using the bar editor) and then just lock those 4 "empty" bars (so they're never re-composed). Just don't forget that you may have to delete accent and fill events (as well as groove events), too...
