Jan 2011: State of the \'Stix?
Hi, Ralph, and happy new year!
Can you give us a State of the Stix overview of what to expect over the next few months? You have a lot of things cookin', and I'm sure they'll all be cool...
Personally, I'm looking forward to a Mac OS X version, since I've not had time to try to get the current release working with the Mac I've switched to. I'd be thrilled with just MIDI output, since I usually use Toontrack stuff for drum sounds, and I wouldn't mind shelling out a pile of money for it -- I miss my drummer.

Next thing is AIPak in just a few weeks. After that comes Jamstix OSX some time this year. We also have another sound expansion planned for 2011.
Beyond that is a native 64-bit version of Jamstix and after that we will be able to pick up the JamBassist project.

Will users of Jamstix 3 get the mac version for free? Just wondering because I'm thinking of upgrading but I don't want to pay the upgrade then pay again for the mac version.

Woot!!!
So I can go ahead and buy Jamcussion and it will transfer since I'm a Jamstix 3 owner? Along with my existing Bonzo and Metal packs?
I should never have doubted....

Yeah, I'm quite interested in JamBassist as well.tam_bour wrote:How far developed is JamBassist?
If it's half as smart as the Jamstix... oh, man!
