Jamstix has a host synch option where you can do halftime or doubletime relative to the host. This yields the same results as EZPP. In contrast, the 'Halftime' button in the Jamstix brain is completely different from the EZPP function in that it actually alters the rule-set for the groove creation to 'think' in halftime (if the particular style supports it) so that it is more musical and human than a simple halving of note distances.

But the host sync is only globally (for the entire song) not per groove correct?Also,is there a list of the currently supported mappings (in & out),or are they the same as the demo?On the demo for midi import there is only GM,AD,Groove Monkee,current kit mapping and EZX Latin.What confuses me about that is Groove Monkee is already pre mapped for different vsti's,which of the many mappings does it refer to?Also the only EZX is Latin,many of the EZXs vary from EZD and have extra hits as well.I apologize for all the questions.

Host synch is global, yes.

Import modes are what is in the demo. The next update will also include Steven Slate 3.

The 'Groove Monkee' import mode was required for some (maybe older?) files. If you have GrooveMonkee GM or AD, then the corresponding GM and AD modes will work fine.

We added the EZX Latin option for Jamcussion. Other EZX are not specifically supported at his time but many files from those EZXs will work fine in GM mode.
