I have the demo loaded in Sonar 8PE. I loaded a song. I'm told to "start my host." I hit play in Sonar, it runs for two bars, then stops.
How do I get JS to play?
Thanks.

How do I get JS to play?
Sonar doesn't like to play with no audio or midi events present; the best solution is just to create a dummy midi track and insert a random midi event (say, a value for a random CC number) at the end of the song. That way Sonar will play.

Thanks. I did create a dummy MIDI track, the muted it. Strange that Sonar makes me do that...I see the same thing with other plugins.
Thanks for your quick reply!

In Sonar 8 you can also go to Options - Global - General Tab and un-check "Stop at end of song".

rcraig...
Thanks! That is EXACTLY what I want!
I just dl'd the Jamstix demo, and I'm really impressed. I've tried MIDI and audio loops for my tunes, and never been happy with them. Jamstix is really a different animal!
Thanks again folks for your help.

Funny thing is, we just had a thread about this same issue, and I gave the advice about putting something in a MIDI track, and someone else mentioned the stop at end of song... that I had totally forgotten about.

Oh and yeah, I find Jamstix definitely kicks ass.
