I've just upgraded to JS4 and while everything seems to work OK sound-wise, I'm getting a weird look to the 3D kit view.
Basically everything comes up with a blue/green hue, regardless of how I set the kit's appearance.
Some setting seem to have an effect (e.g. some of the shell designs will change) but there's always the odd colour.
I've tried messing with all the settings - but even with the lowest demand options nothing works properly.
I'm assuming this is down to me having an old PC. It's just a barebones music setup so I don't have a dedicated graphics card.
Using Reaper on Windows 10 if it helps. Sample screenshot below:

Hi Brendan,
Use the Jamstix Manager app to send your log files to support.

Thanks, I've (hopefully) just done this.a_zimuth wrote:Hi Brendan,

Like I said, it's probably just my rubbish PC.

I have seen a few times when the kit looks strange. Usually rare and always fixed itself after reloading. Have you tried reloading the project or restarting the machine? I see you did try different settings, etc.

Please do this:
- open JS4 manager tool
- click 'Troubleshooting'
- check 'Disable Hardware Acceleration'
Let me know if that does not fix it.

Absolutely brilliant! That's fixed it. Thank you so much Ralph.Ralph [RZ] wrote:Please do this:

I didn't expect such a quick response. I've been guilty of ignoring Jamstix for a few years and wasn't sure what the 3d thing was all about but, even with the error, I really liked it. It just seems to make the illusion of playing along with a human drummer all the more real.
Thanks again.
Brendan
