<r>Unlike many sample plugs the JS samples are for the most part "dry" as recorded. You can use the plug in effects that come with most DAW's to get the sound you want (which is my preference actually). Although I do use other sample sets sometimes to A/B compare my presets or just for kicks. YMMV ...

I am running Jamstix in Reaper 64 on Windows 7 with no problems. Maybe post some more specifics on your setup and some of the power users around here can help.

Chuck Biscuits - Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Danzig
Spit Stix - FEAR
Brendan Canty - Fugazi

"Outside of the box" drummers like these could bring a new dimension to Jamstix
