Combating fake sounding hats

<t>A nice free tool by CodeFN42, called NoteMapper:<br/>
www.codefn42.com/notemapper/<br/>
A cut and paste of the description from their site:<br/>

Closed Hats always turn to open hats- (SOLVED)

<t>Yeah- It was an all-day thing for me. That one little thing that shouldn't<br/>
have been hard, but I got tunnel vision.<br/>
Then I came across another curve-ball (this one I figured out much quicker):<br/>
I was dragging loops from Jamstix into an empty track. The idea was make <br/>

Closed Hats always turn to open hats- (SOLVED)

<t>Yes, I'm only using Jamstix internal sounds, and not routing to any other instrument. <br/>
For the moment, is there any quick way to copy a hat pattern<br/>
(or any pattern on a limb) and paste it to all bars across the whole song?<br/>
<br/>
Anyway, thanks for the quick reply. I'll keep ...

Closed Hats always turn to open hats- (SOLVED)

<t>I have a pattern with hi hats on every beat, which I'm using as the basis for a song. Everything that Jamstix generates turns the hats into a total [i:83f54a3b14]wash<br/>
of open hats[/i:83f54a3b14]. I've tried many combinations of Styles and Drummers, turned off/disabled Fill and Groove ...

MIDI import- Can only load 1 bar

<t>I took a look at the original midi sequence from EZ Drummer, and found that the hats were on the E-2 key. So, no wonder they didn't translate! <br/>
The hats also play (in EZ Drummer) on D3 or E3 (Tight Edge and Closed Edge hats, which sound very similar). So, this was not a Jamstix thing. <br ...
