Just been listening.Great playing and great voice.I think you over-recorded a little though.I can hear some distortion in the mix.For my tastes the drums, although a great sound, sound a little as if the mix is in a rehearsal room with the verb and ambience.

Your guitar tone is TO DIE FOR.

Thanks for the feedback,.. always looking to improve on a mix. At first I thought the same thing about the drums, but I guess I just got used to a more "live" sound, and I started to enjoy it. You're correct about the distortion. I think it's on the clean guitar, I have to check it later. The sm58 used to mic the right side of the amp is a little too hot I think. I might be stuck with it though. I don't think I am going to go back to re-play those parts. Lesson learned though, thanks!Sheppol_A wrote:Just been listening.Great playing and great voice.I think you over-recorded a little though.I can hear some distortion in the mix.For my tastes the drums, although a great sound, sound a little as if the mix is in a rehearsal room with the verb and ambience.

Are you using PC recording software? It may not be the recording.

Thanks! I give it up mostly for the guitar (PRS). The amp is really nothing special, but it gets the job done apparently.dysfunction wrote:Your guitar tone is TO DIE FOR.

Beautiful playing and singing too, everything sounds amazing.

Yes. Sonar. I can try to get some of that noise out with a plug, but I have to be careful to not trash the tone. I don't typically have issues with noise in sonar.. so am thinking it's the hot input.Sheppol_A wrote:Are you using PC recording software? It may not be the recording.
