Not only is the anxiety unresolved, so is the harmony. I felt the need to resolve the harmony and play the final chord an A minor (La).

To tell you the truth, I had a bridge, which later became an ending, but that was EXACTLY what ruined the tension in this song: you WANT that chord to come, you WANT the 'band' to give it all after that last blast n some sort of logical chorus, but to keep close to the title I removed that all and kept it unresolved.
