Any updates - is jamstix a dead product ?
it's gone very (very) quiet on updates for Jamstix.....
I was promised updates about 18 months ago by Ralph for various bugs and issues but nothing has ever happened. 18 months is a long time in software development.
Is it time to move on or can we expect anything going forward. It's a shame as there is nothing quite like it but it feels like a dead product at this stage.

It's not dead. Not trying to be sarcastic but do you have any idea how long we waited for Jamstix 4?

so what's yours??
you have a bug? When did this crop up? did you demo the product?
I would really love to see more with Jamstix but I bought it for what it was when I bought it

I thought the point of my post was quite clear, is JS a 'dead' product ? My view is that, if not dead, then it's definitely ailing.Jae.Thomas wrote:so what's yours??

To answer your questions:
yes, there are some longstanding bugs - I've been in email conversations with Ralph about them. Some fixes were supposed to be coming - 18 months ago.
yes, I demoed the product
Jae, you seem a little to be a little passive aggressive (?) so I'm sorry if my post annoyed you and I'm delighted that you're fully satisfied with it.
My question still remains but thanks for your input.

no, it's ok, I just sometimes don't understand this kind of question. It's clearly not dead.
The problem you have is longstanding bugs and thats valid, but I think it's actually passive aggressive to ask if it's "dead."
keep pushing about the bugs. It's been a rough year for all of us.

Agreed.Jae.Thomas wrote: it's actually passive aggressive to ask if it's "dead."
JS4 still working here. Any bug I have come across has not been a show stopper and I have found a work around and moved on.
And to be honest, if there are no more updates to this product I am fine with that. It's one of the best 'Feel' drum software you can get.
Ralph can take a break if he needs it.
