Midi Output Mapping - clarification ???

Hi,
Thanks for an excellent tool.
WRT Midi output mapping - in my case specifically Addictive Drums 2.
What do the names actually mean?
IE: Black Velvet Tom(4) Cr-Ch-Ch-Cr-Sp-Sp-CB

I mean I get Cr is Crash, Ch ic Closed Hihat, SP is Splash , (CB eludes me at time of writing)

Looking through some of the other maps I note similar naming format.
The file names themselves dont really help either ie ... XXCSC.B

Apologies if this is a duh question from an obvious non-drummer.

Perhaps I'm not the only one?

Running a diff across two random files yielded something of interest but I think I still need someone to dumb it down for me.

Hi ez_g,
That example would translate as Black Velvet 4 Toms, Crash-China-China-Crash-Splash-Splash-Cowbell. In the ShortName it looks like "X" is substituted for Crash. Does that help?

I see what you're saying but the order of the Kit pieces in the "Name" is irrelevant. It is just to show what the Kit contains in the mapping menu so you can choose or assemble a 3d Jamstix midi kit that matches visually.

This is where the actual work is being done redirecting data. Does this make sense or did I completely misunderstand?
