Jamstix UI way too big because of empty space around it

Post by edgecrusher_82 »

Hi everyone

I'm testing out the free version of Jamstix 4 and the plugin window in Cubase 10 ist way too large; the size of the plugin itself is fine, but there is a lot of empty space to the right and the bottom I can't get rid of. The higher the scaling of the UI, the bigger the space appears to become (see screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/eUDnwAi).

Running Cubase Artist 10 on a 4K monitor with hidpi turned on.

Any ideas on how to fix that?

Thanks

- open Jamstix 4 manager tool
- click 'Troubleshooting' and check 'Use APS Mode'

Let me know if that does not fix it.

Sorry for the late reply. Meanwhile, I upgraded to the full version, but unfortunately, the problem still persists.

Speaking of the GUI: Did you ever think of upgrading/streamlining it? I'm a graphic designer and could give you a hand if needed.

I don't know if this helps but,

Jamstix> Options> Enable Compact user Interface.

Also in my DAW(Reaper) before I load Jamstix on a Track I right Click on the VST and choose Run-As >Embedded Bridge UI otherwise it loads as a,"Floating" VST.

HTH :)

Please use 'Email Tech Support' in the Jamstix help menu to send me the logs so I can research this further.
