Cannot drag midi from song into project

Hi, control click on song title and drag from the window that opens to project...not happening

Works fine for me but as a work around you can use 'Save As MIDI File' in the export dialog and then drag the file to the DAW.

Yes I did that but otherwise it doesn't work for me I'm afraid...
