Settings for Audio in Logic Pro X

Hi,
yes, I was one of those who's iMac late 2009 started with crackles and errors by synch.
Figured out, that my settings right out of the box set the I/O-Buffer to 64.
After setting this to 256 or 512 samples crackling did disapear and the CPU-Usage went down.
I use a Phonic HelixBoard 12 FW MKII (FireWire) ans In- and Output.
As more users than me seem to get dropouts and crackling and as Ralph likes to know, if after 3.6.0 28 more like this comes up:
What ar the recommended "optimized" settings for LPX I/O-Buffer-Size or other parameters ? For further testing perhaps as a start the settings for the built-in I/O of a iMac or Macbook.
Just a suggestion
Greetings
Michael
