Using your own samples in Jamstix Kits

Post by Rajah_P »

Like it says... Am I missing something here? Is there a way to import your own samples into a Jamstix Kit?

No. Jamstix can't load samples but it can send MIDI out to another sampler (like Battery) and you can load your samples there...

Put Jamstix on an instrument track in your favorite DAW (Cubase, Logic, Sonar etc etc). You pick (check) midi out slot in Jamstix 3. Then Route the midi from Jamstix into a drum program (Toontrack, BFD etc etc) on your second instrument track. When you play Jamstix it should ten play the Drum samples from the other software (provided that your DAW software, audio interface and everything else is set up right).
