Anyone else having issues with saving kits? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I re-mapped a bunch of kits (Superior Drummer), & when I re-call/load them, the mapping is wrong.....
I'm not using the sub-host thing, I just want Jamstix to trigger the midi, & send it to the Superior track (which is working fine btw.....).....
Any ideas/tips/help?????
Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Bump......
I've tried running the daw (Reaper 4) as admin, re-mapped the kit (every piece, all articulations...),saved in the kit file......
When I re-open the song/project in Reaper, the kit is mapped the same as before I did the re-mapping.......
In the step sequencer, the hits I want/added/whatever are there & correct, just the mapping is wrong.....
Using "midi out" in the mixer, to trigger Superior Drummer on another track.......
Do I need to re-install Jamstix? Any help would be appreciated.....
Specs on my setup are:
Gateway PC: AMD Phenom x4 810, 2-1tb hdd's, 8gb RAM, Windows 7
Reaper 4, Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface

When you use 'Save Kit', you are just updating the kit file on disk. You need to save the host project to store the changes in the project.
'Save Kit' is there so you can save the kit for use on other projects.

When you say "save host project", you mean "save/save as" in the daw? Right, if so, I've done that to no avail.......
Thanks Ralph, we'll keep working on it, & I'm sure there's a fix, probably something I'm doing wrong on my end.....

Just tried changing the hi-hat articulations, & saving the project in Reaper, but when I re-open the song/project, it's back to the same thing......
The problem I'm having is Jamstix isn't "remembering" the articulations I map to Superior Drummer
IE: Superior's mapping for the open 1 hat is: C0 I set the mapping in Jamstix to C0, then save kit, & when I re-open the song/project, it reverts back to D5....
Same thing with SD's "open 3" D0, save, then JS reverts back to D#5......
As long as I have the song/project open in Reaper, & change the hits, it's fine, but when I save/close Reaper, then re-open, the hits go back to the way they were before I re-mapped 'em.......
Im using "Music City USA" in Superior Drummer btw, but it shouldn't make any difference, as long as the mapping is saved, as I'm only triggering another track, not sub-hosting in JS......
Any ideas???

Please repeat the problem (just change one key assignment) and then close REAPER and send me the latest rzdlog.txt from Documents\Jamstix3.
