Is there any way to import a pre-recorded one shot, say a kick drum, and assign it to the kit? I briefly looked around to see if this is possible but didn't find anything obvious (to me that is

)
thanks

Not that I know of.Easy to use a .wav sample in reaper though or host a sample player in JS and use that to play a sample.Or download the Addictive Drums demo and host that and mix and match
Big bags of mega samples I collected here,
http://www.box.net/shared/l4fixvr7hf
http://www.box.net/shared/29m2u1rsdp
both around 15 meg of them zipped

Although this would be a nice feature I'll tell you why I would never implement it if I was making a commercial drum program.I want your money

This is not a cynical as it may seem and I say it with levity but here's what I mean by it.
I have a great product I believe in.I also want my customers to be satisfied and will give great support free of charge.I do however have a living to make,bills to pay and employees who rely on the business doing well.I want and need repeat sales and buyers to invest by buying upgrades like add-on packs.Without these the business model may not survive.If this happens those who have invested by buying lose as well as those involved in the business especially in these bad economic times.
Jamstix is already head and heels above many drum programs with it's,"Brain" and ability to host other programs from within itself and for the price well......
I personally can live with this small but easily worked round limitation.
