Using non-jamstix sounds

Post by Jeff »

Hi!

I would like to use jamstix with some of my own drum sounds.
Is there a (preferably free) way to do this?

Thanks, Jeff

If you just want to use a collection of samples in wav format, you can use a free VST sampler like Shortcircuit, which you can either subhost inside Jamstix, or rout Jamstix's midi output through your host to it.

Thanks dysfunction,
I d/l'ed shortcircuit 2 and actually was able to fire it up in jamstix and get
some .wav files loaded. Wasn't able to hear any sound tho. Know of any
beginner-level tutorials on using samplers?

Thanks, Jeff
