I'll see what we can do. I'm hesitant to do a whole forum for this. Maybe just make it a sticky thread for now?

This would be a popular thread, if people did it. I have some drum beats done of popular songs, (mainly older ones), and mainly just the main riff for the drums, not the entire song. Did anybody come up with a format, on what to post?.. or is this a dead thread now..lol

The thread's been pretty inactive for a while, but I still think it's a noble idea.

I'm currently on three weeks holiday, so I'll have some time to focus on some classic rhythms and post them - as bad as my attempts may be.

And now that I have Jamcussion, the first track I'll aim for is "Sympathy for the Devil".

Although I have to say this - Ralph, do you have any suggestions on how to do that particular track?

I'm here to resurrect this thread a year later. I just got some tips from Ralph on how to make a groove in the style of The Roots that I wanted to share here. This stuff isn't trivial to me so it would be fantastic for everyone to post their tips on recreating grooves.
