... "affect other drummers?"

I find that generally I want to tone down the drummers (style, not volume), preferring less drum hits per measure most of the time. I realize that as a result, I'm generally spending more and more time w/ the simple guys and styles, because I am not quite comfortable enough w/ the brain settings to tweak those yet.

The thought occurred that maybe I could experience those other talented drummers if I could ask them to pretty please lay back a bit. Is "simplify" the best way for a newbie to do this? Just drag it over, slide to the left and there you go?

I just wanted to add - I can't imagine being at my DAW without JS … it is like a miracle. Spending a LOT of hours with it this week, what a wonderful tool. The progress is real, I can't wait to learn how to use more and more of it. Ralph and the experts on this forum who are so giving of advice - thank you!

Alexis: Yes, you can use 'Extract From Other Player' to bring 'Simplify' from 'Charlie' to any other drummer.

Same here, most of the drummers feel too busy for me. I can confirm this does calm down a lot of the over-business. Great tip!
