Jamstix 3.5 and Cubase SX3 - MIDI routing and timing issues

Jamstix 3.5 doesn't have sub-hosting. I'm currently using a spare MIDI track with monitoring on to route the MIDI to Addictive Drums. Is this right? Is there a more direct way to route the MIDI? I am getting some audible timing effects.

Still no replies to this? Is it answered anywhere else?
Basically, how do you get MIDI data from Jamstix to a VSTi?
Through a spare MIDI track?
Please let me know.
Cheers!

Yes. Send JS midi out to track with AD drum vsti on. Select midi drum map ad addictive drums in JS.

Please also check your audio latency setting as high values may lead to MIDI timing issues in Cubase.

Thanks for your replies. It's a shame you no longer have the option of sub-hosting. Even on a low power machine, with huge latencies, this gave good timing. Good job I recently bought a higher spec laptop!
(I don't think there's anything on MIDI routing for 3.5 in the manual. Maybe a couple of lines would be good)
