Any luck in Linux?

I'm told that many VSTs and VSTIs work well in Linux. Some don't but apparently that's mostly those with dongles & such. I'm moving towards converting my studio to Linux and am curious if anyone has reported success with Jamstix/Linux. It wouldn't be critical for me. If it doesn't work I'd just work up drums on my WIN7 laptop and export the wav to Linux. Would be nice if it would just work in Ardour though.

I've tried jamstix with REAPER under Wine and it ran absolutely smooth besides the same small niggles that Jamstix had with REAPER under windows at that time. Even hosting of plugins worked (tried with AD).
