Changing styles results in silence for the 2nd part of songs

Post by Sammon »

Whenever I compose a song, if I change the style (by copy style to all parts) when I allow JS2 to recompose the parts the second part is always silent. So for example if I go:

Intro
Verse1
Chorus1
Verse2
Chorus2
etc.

First run it will be fine, it will create the part. If I swap from say, 6/8 rock to 8th rock. The intro will recompose, but verse1 will be silent, chorus1 will be fine. The only way I've found to resolve this is to create a new verse1 and delete the old one.

I'm running Cubase5 (latest update), JS2 (latest update), I have jamcussion and the Bonzopak, I'm running XP SP3, 4Gb RAM (I know I'm not using it all ;-) it's an Intel Core Duo processor running at 3GHz).

Am I doing something dumb or is this a glitch?

Actually reloading the drummer fixes it too. I think it's not copying the drummer details to each part properly.
